Lilia BLACKout

The black limited edition Lilia BLACKout in porcelain was created at the beginning of 2020 in response to current situation in the world, caused by pandemic.
2020 will be written around the world as a year of "blackout", social and economic crisis and uncertainty, life changes that will affect or affected almost everyone.
This year I decided to create black collection, which symbolizes the back side of our developed civilization, associated with incredible comfort and luxury, plenty
to the abundance of goods and services to which we are very accustomed.
In these days we are more or less losing all of this and we are beginning to appreciate what we had before and returning to a basic values of life.

The black collection is dark, but at the same time fascinating in its depth. I believe that in times of crisis it is possible to find inner strenght in each of us and create something valuable a beautiful.
In contrast to previous white collection, which has a pure design based on geometrized lily flower, black reveals and brings a greater aesthetic impression.
It is also emphasized by the style of photography, which takes inspiration from Baroque chiaroscuro and works with the symbols of vanity and suffering (flowers, pomegranate).
