Sadly, global warming was a much a threat back in 2007 as it is today. And to raise awareness of the devastation it was causing to the emperor penguins' natural habitat we proposed a collaboration between the World Wildlife Federation (WWF) and Penguin Books. By removing the legendary penguin logo from their iconic covers we shone a light on the plight of the penguins and asked readers to support the cause.
