Visual Exploration: Typographic Design
This project is about improving our skills and typography knowledge in the InDesign program. In this project, we have to use professional refinements on the types of fonts we use and apply it to the poster design. A poster's goal is to clearly communicate to the viewer using simple visuals and text.
InDesign Techniques
1. After an hour of refining the source text, I needed to decide on a good type font for the header. The four I created are seen below.
2. I picked a header and cast the other three title designs aside.
3. I learned how to edit certain paragraph styles. In this image, I am editing the character styles of the font to Ratio.
4. Putting a background under the text.
5. I exported the text as a pdf to put on the final presentation board.
