At the turn of August and September 2020, I had the opportunity to paint two murals on beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea: French Corsica and Italian Sicily.
Both murals are based on local lace patterns found in the homes of people living nearby.
The wall in Corsica was painted for Festival Popularte, l'Arte Fora di Cità, curated by Fabien Flori.
The wall in Sicily was painted for Emergence Festival, curated by Giuseppe Stagnitta.
