China Tiger Lilly's Cafe, Restaurant & Grille

A Mystery in Four Parts

As technology changes around us, new ways of storytelling continue to be created.  This exploratory fiction project began online with the attempt to make a written story more three-dimensional and to immerse the reader beyond the printed word.  The book was only available for a limited time and has been retired by the author.

China Tiger Lilly's Cafe Restaurant and Grille may be re-released in different format in the future as Cafe Turandot

Blurb:
For this fictional work J.C. Gary combined his varied background, an interest in food and cooking plus original artwork into a unique mystery work in four parts.

Story  Description: Phyl is a recently divorced, cool California older woman who has been around the block a few times. Her Italian friend Lou, an unemployed opera singer, chooses to move into a dingy San Francisco apartment above a restaurant-bar on the edge of Chinatown where he begins to realize that things are not always what they seem. He drifts into a twisted world full of intriguing questions - finding answers he didn't expect and a restaurant with more on the menu than just food. Step into magical San Francisco foggy days and nights to experience this cocktail of Turandot with a San Francisco twist. Over 20 recipes are included.
