Summer Bliss; for my first textile exam, the brief was to design a floral print inspired by plants in our environment. After designing my print, I was curious about how it would look on a garment, so I screen-printed the design on fabric and made a dress to accompany the print.#fashion #textiles #illustration #visualart #dress #florals
I decided that I wanted a simple line drawing/ illustrated floral design - because I based the illustration on flowers I took pictures of, that had a lot of intricate shapes and would therefore create a wonderful pattern - so I wanted to design something simple to emphasize those intricate shapes.
