I was commissioned by Royal Road University in Victoria BC to produce a video to communicate their new vision and goals.

RRU valued diversity, inclusivity and accessibility very much. So I thought using various rocks I have collected all over the world would be great for representing these values, while providing tangible and fun aesthetics to carry the video forward.

Based on the script, I made storyboards.

Once the storyboards and animatic was approved, I created style frames.

Then I shot all the stopmotion parts.

CEL ANIMATION and COMPOSITING:

Then I composited stopmotion and created the 2D cel animation part.

Then i put everything back together in AE, edited sound and music on Premier.
