The hottest Jackpots
Betsson is one of the biggest online casinos in the world.
The "hottest Jackpots" landing page was launched in 2019 and the Finnish marketing team wanted to also create banners for external sites to promote Jackpots available at Betsson. I was given an opportunity to design and create the banners.
The Explosion Effect
My idea for the banners was to use the same jackpot meter that was used on the landing page, but to make it overload due to the massive amount of jackpots and eventually explode. After this, we would present our message: "Would you like to be a Jackpot-winner? - Check out our hottest jackpots at the moment".
Creating and publishing the banners
I created the banners using Adobe Animate CC.
The banners were published with the Google DoubleClick (DCM) and they were used across multiple external sites. I also created the banners translated to Swedish. Because the banners were used in multiple placements, I created the banners in 9 different dimensions, including the following sizes: 160x600, 300x250, 300x300, 300x600, 350x300, 600x200, 728x90, 980x120 and 980x400.
File size of an individual zipped banner was around 75kb.
Note that the banners used in this presentation are transformed to GIF. Original banners were HTML5-banners.
