I always describe “El Santo” as kind of soup of concepts; as a response to a feeling of longing, for my country and my culture, a way to reaffirm my “latino essence”, in a continent, where I was sometimes either discouraged or filtered through a lense of predisposition.
I made this piece to regain love for who I am, and where I come from.

This is a lenticular printed images wall installation*; each image is intervened with a robust abstract stamp, playing with repetition and individuality at the same time.

*Exhibited in The Pecan Pelican, London 2019.

*Lenticular printed images: Lenticular printing is a technology in which lenticular lenses (a technology that is also used for 3D displays) are used to produce printed images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles.

*Religious lenticular images, acrylic paint, wax, spray paint.

*Available for purchase
