The practice of Learn Reiki is not really a religion. The Second Degree Reiki training requires an attunement also. This attunement increases the Reiki power the student can channel. The student can be given the sacred Reiki power symbols and is needed to learn to draw them in addition to instruction on the best way to use them. It is during the next degree training the student also learns how to complete "distant, or distance healing" and mental-emotional healing. The student learns that distance, time and space do not exist in spiritual realms and Reiki is easily sent across time and space to the intended recipient.

The Third Degree, or Masters'attunement, again, broadens and deepens the level of healing energy the student can channel in addition to significantly enhances the students'personal growth and development. This level was split into two parts back the mid 1980's allowing students to have the masters'abilities minus the capacity to teach or give Reiki.

The Master Teacher attunement provides the student the capacity to teach and give the attunements to others. During this training the student receives the sacred Master symbols and is taught how to do the attunements. This level is generally reserved for people who demonstrate life long dedication to Reiki.
