Moving our proposal development processes online due to Covid-19 encouraged me research some new tools to make life a little easier – tools like Microsoft Power Automate, an amazing application that allows users to automate basic tasks across the Office 365 environment. I set up this workshop to share my research with the design team, demo a few automated tasks, and propose some new workflows made possible by the software.
Our now SharePoint-centered workflow also required some digital versions of forms and coversheets that were previously printed and filled out the old fashioned way. I put together a digital version of a graphic request form commonly used by writers, adding a few extra convenience features like pre-filled fields and check boxes. I then put together a quick workshop to walk the writers, editors, and designers through the new form's usage and proposed workflow.
IGT – Business Proposals Newsletter Design
Monthly internal newsletters created over the last few years. These are designed to be an engaging and eye-catching way of communicating department/company news, data, employee interviews, and more. Each month,
content is compiled by writers and managers before being handed off to a designer for it's final treatment.
