History Between These Folds is a series of essays written by 11th graders at a Carver Senior High School in New Orleans. This project is part of an after school writing program with the organization 826 New Orleans. 

All photography and collages were created by Blacvoice Design. 

Collages in this section of the book were created in collaboration with graphic designer and artist Tiffany Dantin.
