In April 2020, Dallin H. Oaks, the First Counselor in the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, gave this beautiful talk to the members of the church at their semi-annual General Conference. This talk encompasses all the simple, yet profound, doctrine we believe about the purpose and hope for our lives, and the promises we are given when keeping close to our Savior and His restored gospel.
Throughout this booklet, varieties of square and circles were used to symbolize the connection of Heaven and Earth coming together as this eternal plan was created for our ultimate happiness and salvation.
The main purpose of this booklet was to engage the reader with the message being shared through typographic style and intriguing page design to help emphasize what President Dallin H. Oaks was trying to share about the great plan of our lives.
