Shout, Design for Social Good Project

To raise public awareness and provoke a response towards the over commercialisation of an area. The “Shout” event involved gathering in Dalston Square at 6 o’clock everyday to shout as a reminder for locals to speak up with both their voices and their pockets before losing the character of the place they love. Photos of participants were collected shouting at their cameras and exhibited. The research book documents surveying, participation devices, public speech bubbles, environment tagging, diaries, movement maps. Used to uncover true attitudes and behaviours and produce as informed an area appropriate outcome as possible.
