Pandatic, from the word pandemic; “of or belonging to all the people” and the word data; “facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis”, our system will provide data for the betterment of all people. In light of recent events, it is clear that appropriate preparation was not undertaken to combat COVID-19. Pandatic is an internet connected pulse oximeter which works in combination with an application in which users can self volunteer some key data (current temperature, symptoms, location data, travel data, etc.). With both oxygen saturation and other volunteered data collected, trends and ‘hot spots’ can be identified before those users are in critical condition and healthcare institutions are overwhelmed. With this network of unconfirmed cases, resources can be better delegated.
